Scheduled transaction: cannot change end-date to 'never end'

I had a scheduled transaction that ended in Feb 2016. I wanted to revive it to never end. I clicked the 'never' radio button and save the transaction, but on re-examination, the end period had not been changed.

I the deleted and tried to re-create the transaction with the correct properties. However the creation window did not display the transfer accounts. See the attached screenshot.
