I'm not sure what caused this for you, but I'm fairly sure the package is working normal for most folks (there was just another bug report about the 3D board that would have required starting the program). I'm going to close this out since there were a few issues like this in the past and I'm guessing you were experiencing one of those, bug please re-open if you're still having trouble.
