Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnomebaker
In the Gnome Baker file selector, when left clicking and dragging, a rectangle file selection box occurs, even when a selection already exists. This prevents me from dragging a selected range of files into the project to be burnt to disc.
The selected range can be added to the project with the Add Files button above the project, however this behaviour is totally unintuitive and not consistent with the behaviour of the rest of the system (particularly Nautilus).
For consistency of user interface, and improved discovery/intuitive behaviour, my suggestion would be to default to drag'n'drop of the multiple selection if a selected item is clicked on, and allow the rectangle select mode to occur if a non-selected file is clicked on at the start of dragging.
Hmm, maybe this is a wishlist item, though I consider it a usability bug (papercut even, it made me angry like a papercut :P)
