Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-web-photo
Hello,
This installation is
$ uname -a && lsb_release -a
Linux karmic64 2.6.31-16-generic #53-Ubuntu SMP Tue Dec 8 04:02:15 UTC 2009 x86_64 GNU/Linux
No LSB modules are available.
Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description: Ubuntu 9.10
Release: 9.10
Codename: karmic
I try to use the gnome-web-photo tool to take screenshots of webpages, but the command fails. The command is
$ gnome-web-photo --format=png http://
Load timed out; consider using --force or increasing the timeout (use 0 for no timeout)
This also fails
$ gnome-web-photo -t0 --format "png" -w 2048 http://
However, some other web pages produce a correct image, such as this
$ gnome-web-photo --format=png -w 2048 http://
Could someone explain the logic behind this tool. Why include it Ubuntu if it's not ready?
--
BTW: I use it both from CLI and Gscreendump ( http://
How can I help?
