Bug Description
It seems nothing is associated to ftp:// links. I think Nautilus is the best
app, today, to manage ftp, sftp, ssh, smb (etc) protocols. But Firefox could do
the job too, even if it's read-only.

Easy to do, but according to upstreams perhaps not a good idea, see this bug: bugzilla. gnome.org/ show_bug. cgi?id= 144704
