Duplicate drive icons

Binary package hint: nautilus

I have two windows partitions (1 ntfs, 1 vfat).

I see the following icons wherever a drive list is displayed:

hda1
IBM_PRELOAD (this is hda1)
hda2
hda2 (1)

As you can see, there is a duplicate for each entry. I have fstab as edgy left it after the dist-upgrade from a fresh dapper.

Some relevant info:
ii libgtk2.0-bin 2.10.3-0ubuntu1
ii nautilus 2.16.0-0ubuntu2

I approve this , it happened to me. I edited my fstab entires, so for now, the problem was vanished.

Also confirmed here. It duplicates all my 6 partitions in the same manner afeter upgrading from dapper and also after fresh install off the Knot 2 CD (all updates applied of course).

Thanks for the bug report. This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but please feel free to report any further bugs you find.

Until the bug fixed, i am telling what i've done. I just clean all the partition lines (except / one) from my fstab and created new directories (which are named by me) under /media and set those in the fstab.
