Binary package hint: gedit

gedit crashes when opening a gnome-virtual-filesystem mounted file. it took a lot of time and memory doing "nothing" and finally crashed.

Hey, try this:

edit file: /usr/lib/gedit-2/plugins/terminal.py
find all: term.fork_command()
replace with: term.fork_command("/bin/bash")

This will change the shell that is used in gedit terminal plugin to bash. zsh does not work there.
