Bug Description

Binary package hint: nautilus

My native language is not english, but I will try to help.
When accessing a media mounted with fuse with module siefs (to access a Siemens CX65 phone) the nautilus browse in all files, but don't write because 'it think' that the media don't have enough space.

In Konqueror this don't occur.

Siemens CX65 with irda usb dongle ma620 (kernel module ma600) on /dev/ircomm0 mounted as 'sudo mount -t siefs -o uid=1000,nohide /dev/ircomm0 /media/celular/'

Ubuntu 6.10 Edgy Eft

Thanks for your bug. Does copying from the comment line work fine? What about gnomevfs-copy?

Changed in nautilus:
assignee: nobody → desktop-bugs
importance: Undecided → Low
status: Unconfirmed → Needs Info

With gnomevfs-copy also don't work, it failed with same error, I think I really found a bug :-) .

If at all, it's a gnome-vfs issue.

Does using a normal 'cp' work?

Perfectely, as I said with konqueror also. In 'df' always is reported 0 in available even if my gsm phone has enough space.

Many thanks for your attention.
I'm disposed to help in find a solution for this.

That should be forwarded upstream by somebody using fuse, opening an upstream task to indicate that

I don't understand what to do.
Some kind of feedback is appreciable.

Sebastien Bacher (seb128) wrote :

nobody sent that upstream and nautilus is using gvfs now which deprecates this issue, closing the bug
