Alt+Print Screen Doesnt work in ubuntu 10.10

When I press Alt+Print Screen nothing happens... sometimes I cannot use the PrintScreen function either

Normal print screen works for me, alt-print screen doesn't.

Also, when accessing from the menu (Apps->Accessories->Take Screenshot->"Grab the current window") it also doesn't work. Regular screen shot does though, as does "Select area to grab".

Affects me too. Apparently this might be a bug conserning upgrades as my installation is upgrade from 10.04.1. Full screen screenshot works.

Hello,

In past I has used Alt+PrintScreen to make SceenShot of current window and Ctrl+PrintScreen to make SceenShot of whole screen.

But ... in U10.10 do Alt+PrintScreen not work - this keyboard shortcut is not possible to define.

Maybe I have found the answer WHY:

The PritScreen is also SysRq.

Maybe - new kernel in U10.10 adds first time this functionality.

What do you think ? Could that be the reason (not bug) ?

To take a screenshot, use the following shortcut keys:

                Alt+Print Screen

                Takes a screenshot of the window which is active.

if this is not a bug then "help" is wrong
