Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-utils
See also: Bug #346558
When viewing a log file in the log file viewer, the display jumps to the bottom of the log when new messages are written to the log. This is desired behaviour if the display is at the bottom of the file already, however if I am trying to read part of the middle of the log file I do not want it to jump to the end. The viewer should only scroll to the bottom if the scrollbar was already at the bottom before the new message appeared.
