g-s-l won't allow horizontal scrolling

Bug Description

When viewing a log file in gnome-system-log it's impossible to scroll horizontally to reach the end of longer lines. This is especially the case with "lower" resolutions like 1024x768. This in my eyes makes a not-that-useful program even more lying around...

Thanks for your bug. Comment like "not-that-useful program even more lying around..." are not useful, rather the opposite. People working on most of those free software do so during their free time, you could show some tolerance to their work and points bug in a nice way instead of calling their work "not-that-useful program".

That's a duplicate of bug #37877

Changed in gnome-utils:
assignee: nobody → desktop-bugs
status: Unconfirmed → Rejected

Sorry I didn't mean to affront anyone, it was merely a personal comment. For some people g-s-l is possibly useful.
(I too work on free sotware in my free time, for example with a bug report)
And you are right, a bugreport should probably not be used for personal comments...

No problem, I'm just trying to point that people do what they can and constructive bugs and comments work usually better to get something fixed (and does that without conflict) ;)
