Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-utils

My log files are quite long, and every time I switch to-from the system log viewer (after some elapsed time), I am returned to the top of the log file.

Can we get a preference to always tail the end of each log file? I don't like manually dragging down through hours/days of text.

ProblemType: Bug
Architecture: amd64
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.04
ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/gnome-system-log
NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia
Package: gnome-utils 2.26.0-0ubuntu1
ProcEnviron:
 LANG=en_US.UTF-8
 SHELL=/bin/bash
SourcePackage: gnome-utils
Uname: Linux 2.6.28-11-generic x86_64
