German to English Dictionary works. English to German does not work.

I downloaded UBUNTU9.04, AMD64, yesterday, 4-23-09.

I selected the German to English dictionary, and was able to get "finally" from "endlich." Then, I selected the English to German dictionary and was not able to get "endlich" from "finally." These outcomes were replicated using a variety of words.

I start:

 Applications>Office>Dictionary>Available Databases

Then I click on the small arrow head appearing after “Available Databases” and get a Menu:

  Similar words
  Available dictionaries
  Available strategies
  Dictionary sources

I click on “Available dictionaries” and get no response. I click here and there and I get a list of dictionaries. I learn that I can get that list by by several routes. Generally, clicking on the curved arrow , at the bottom of the screen after having clicked on any other item on the menu, gets the list.

Given the menu, I highlight “German-English Freedict dictionary” by clicking on it. Then I go to “Look up” (Upper-left on screen), and type “endlich,” for example. The response is:
  “at last, at length, finally …”

Next, I return to the menu, highlight “English-German Freedict dictionary,” return to “Look-up,” and type “finally.” The response is:
  Error while looking up definition
  No definition found for finally

Thanks for the report, it has been some time without any response or feedback in this bug report and we are wondering if this is still an issue for you with the latest release of Ubuntu the Natty Narwhal, May you please test with that version and comment back if you're still having or not the issue?
