The "Copy to Clipboard" option only works if I keep the gnome-screenshot window open.

You're welcome. I'll try to give you all the details:
I was making a OpenOffice text document and I needed to paste some screenshots of Firefox on it. I realised that, when left-clicking on "copy to clipboard" and keeping the dialog open, I could paste the screenshots onto the odt document with the command "CTRL+V". But, if I closed the dialog after left-clicking on "copy to clipboard" the opperation wouldn't work out. So, I deduce that the image would only stay on the clipboard while keeping the dialog open.
If you needed any more information, just let me know.
Cheers!

thank you for your bug report, how do you click on "copy to clipboard" to see if it works or not after closing the dialog?
