Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-utils
Producing an "ERROR" when I don't spell the word 100% correctly --- rather than giving me a list of words to choose from.
Two big problems with this Dictionary....
(1) The word Ubuntu is not in it. WHAT? lol Would Apple forget to include iPhone is its spellcheck?
(2) As I type in a word, it should be looking up all the words that start with those letters as I type. It should not require me to enter the whole word... And it certainly should not require me to spell it 100% correctly! That's the whole point of using a dictionary -- half the time!

Thanks for your report, the first part of it isn't a gdict issue rather a dict.org one. The second part is a known issue you can track it here: http:// bugzilla. gnome.org/ show_bug. cgi?id= 144378
