gnome-search-tool ignores the 'more options' entries

Bug Description

When using gnome-search-tool to search 'in folder: Home', I want it to follow
symlinks. So I put that in the 'more options' list. Nice. Next time starting the
program, this setting is remembered. Also nice. It isn't actually used, however,
when the "Show more options" think is not expanded. When I expand the thing, it
*is* used.

This has confused me a lot, and I really think it's a weird thing to have the
*behaviour* of the program changing whenever just showing/hiding the options
that have been set. I would propose the options that are set, are used -
regardless of whether the "show more options" thing is expanded or not.

that's a duplicate of #7965 which is closed, but I will keep this one because
apparently the current behaviour is confusing for users.

If the options are masked the tools uses locate (quick search), with the options
it searchs on the disk.

I've opened a bug upstream about this:
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=303900, maybe they can figure a better
way to make the difference clear between 2 modes

I have 2.10.1-0ubuntu.
It's very confusing indeed, especially since I know how to use both 'find' and
'locate', but it was quite impossible for me this would be the behaviour :) At
least it explains some of the 'inexplicable' behaviour I have seen with missing
search results.

Thanks you for your efforts.
