Help documentation not translated in French

GNome user docs are translated upstream by gnome-fr team. It seems to be fully translated in French upstream. Here's the onlne gnome desktop guide : http://library.gnome.org/users/user-guide/stable/

gnome-user-docs should be update (from GNOME SVN) to reflect the current French translation.

The French translation of the GNOME User Guide has been committed for the 2.26.1 release. Unfortunately, I doubt Ubuntu will update the package just to follow translations.
Of course, you're welcome to help translating in the upstream project so as it will be completely translated for the next version :-)
I don't think it's useful to enter bugs for partially translated material.

Updating a package to improve translations is definitely a valid thing to do. If we have time we should do it.

Have the upstream translations been committed to Launchpad on this package?

Jaunty is very old now and unsupported, so I'm closing the bug.
