Bug Description

On https://help.ubuntu.com/stable/ubuntu-help/files-disc-write.html.en there are instructions how to write a CD/DVD, but it does not mention that you need to install Brasero to do so.

Thanks for your report!

Hmm.. I don't have access to a device where I can confirm the need to have Brasero installed. But if that's the case, it sounds as if we should add a note similar to the note at the top of this page:

https://help.ubuntu.com/stable/ubuntu-help/files-preview.html

Can you possibly elaborate on the description. What happens if Brasero is not present when you try to follow the instruction?

Nothing happens, no notification popups.

Maybe its just my external usb dvd burner, but autoplay doesn't seem to.
Even if i go to:
settings -> devices -> removable media -> other media -> blank dvd disc
The default action is "CD/DVD Creator", but changing it to Brasero doesn't automatically start it when i insert an empty dvd.

So now i'm not sure if "CD/DVD Creator" is a different program than "Brasero", and maybe a default install does include it. (i did a minimum install)
