gnome-todo can't handle deletion

Bug Description
When I press delete, it says "Task ___ removed", yet the deleted item pops back up as a greyed out item that can not be removed. After a while, a whole bunch of horizontal lines form in the todo list, and is quite annoying. Not sure if this is related or if I should file another bug.
