theme bug, dark charakters on dark panel on ubuntu 11.04b2

Hi,

When i set the new wawe theme, i get dark charakters on dark panel. And when I modify the theme colors nothing happens, on the panel the app name color is same.

Its a theming problem. The theme should set the appropriate colour for foreground text.

I'm not very much sure about themes, so I'm not closing this bug right now, but I'm 90% sure its a problem with the theme.

ok, maybe. But why have this theme a base ubunu install if the theme isn't work ok?

Can you reproduce the same issue in classic Ubuntu desktop session with the same theme?

Also this bug could be related/duplicate of bug 728831 as the description suggests something "Currently, unity is drawing text in the panel. We want the theming engines be able to do that..."

No Omer, the bug you linked is about a different feature.
This is a bug in the New Wave theme which should add special rules for the unity panel.
