Bug Description

This has existed since dapper. You need to precisely position the mouse pointer over the edge of any window to drag and resize it.

What theme are you using?

Human. And no compiz, just plain metacity.

Look at attached screen, the mouse pointer though almost on the edge wont change to the drag pointer. Its like slipping on and off.

Matthew Woerly (nattgew) wrote :

Are you sure that's the Human theme? It looks like some other theme to me... I can't remember the name at the moment, but I used it for a bit, and I noticed the same thing. I think it's because the borders on the side are almost nonexistent.

Its human theme with dust window border , and some color tweaking.

Its the same though with pure human theme also.At least i find it 'not easy' to select borders.

Thanks for replying so soon.

The theme in question is New Wave and the bug is not with the themes itself but with metacity.
