Thank you for your bug. Do you have a .bash_history? Does it happen with a new user? Do you still have space on your disk?

yeah! I have this file, it's owned by root, and it's in my home directory.
it's the user I created when i installed feisty alpha.

and I have gigs of free space in my home partition. it is posible that i lost my history because I use the same home partition in edgy & feisty?

does it work fine if you change the owner to your user?

Do you still have this issue with the stable release of Feisty ? Could you please answer the last question of Sebastien Bacher ? Thank you.

in the stable release of feisty, it works well.

in beta, yeah, i think that was because i shared the home partition and user
isnt the same. changing owner, that works well.

Ok, I'm setting this as fixed as you don't have this problem anymore with the stable release.
