Bug Description

in the Unity window manager (3d and 2d) when resizing the terminal window to make it taller it sometimes (fairly reliably fails, but sometimes works in unity2d if you resize slowly) ends up scrolled back a way. This is particularly annoying when using it with screen or byobu.

I have the same problem, I believe. I'm not using Unity but gnome-shell in fallback mode. When I'm resizing my terminal, it will often scroll all the way up so that I have to type something to get my screen back in the view.
