Bug Description
The transparency setting in the Terminal does not show up overlapped windows -
the effect only includes the desktop giving strange results (see screenshot).
This was on a system with a Radeon 9600 in case it has anything to do with drivers.

This is intended. X transparency will not be sanely doable until stability of
and widespread use of the COMPOSITE extension.
