Show menubar has no effect in full screen mode

Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-terminal

When gnome-terminal is viewed in full screen mode, by default the "Show menubar" option is selected, but no menubar is accessible. Checking/unchecking this option does nothing.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the stable release - Oneiric Ocelot. I just upgraded a machine to 11.10 yesterday and can confirm that the issue still exists.
