Thanks for report, could you get a backtrace with:

gdb gnome-terminal
(gdb) break gdk_x_error
(gdb) run --sync
reproduce the crash and
(gdb) thread apply all bt

and then attach the output to the report? please also make sure to install the gnome-terminal and libgtk2 dbgsym packages, thanks in advance.

well we need the backtrace of the crash to be able to determine where the bug actually is and then pass that to the developers for fixing , without it there's no much we can do.

This crash happend exactly in the same moment as #629841.

Both happend when closing a half-working gnome-shell session (see #629828) by pressing Ctrl+C.
