i need to find out my password to open my key to enter new date and time. i have tried everyone i can think of and none of them seem to work. please help me to find it.

Binary package hint: gnome-terminal
when itry to log in to adjust the date and time the system doesn't recognize my password. i would like to set up a new user name and password. i would also like to delete the old one. please help.
