Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-terminal
I ran a program which wrote a stdout line of ~10000 characters. The line is emitted but scrollback becomes extremely slow. The screen grays out and it takes ~10 sec to page down.
The program I was running was 'pi' - a sample program with the dmd D compiler, though the problem appears to be with gnome-terminal since the 'pi' program has already finished, it is just the output that is handled extremely slowly in the terminal window.
