Bug Description

Dragging a file from Nautilus to Terminal inserts the path of the file at the text prompt.
This is very useful when working with long paths.
However, if a part of the path has a space in it, it must be escaped, otherwise the shell does not understand it.

This bug is reported in GNOME bugzilla, but the developers have not fixed it since 2002 and appear to think it's not a problem.

Thanks for your bug. The right place to "fix" that is upstream

I know.
But upstream won't fix it.

and we don't want to maintain a fork, the right place to argue and get it fixed is upstream
