Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-terminal
There is a bug when opening a new tab if the old tab is in the last line of the display.
The following steps reproduce the bug:
1. Open a shell and ping www.google.com (for example)
2. Let it run until the output fills the display
3. Open a new tab and do something (hit enter, for example)
4. Return to the old tab, there will be a few lines missing in the output.
The attached screenshot shows the output of this experiment, note that the output lines for icmp_seq=22 and 23 are missing.
I'm using Ubuntu 8.10.
