Binary package hint: gnome-terminal
GNOME Terminal 2.24.1
Has 2 shortcut keys on Edit menu of 'P'.
Was accustomed to Edit > P for PASTE. Now Edit > Profile Preferences also has a P as a keyboard shortcut.
Thanks for whatever you can do.
