Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-terminal

Ubuntu Hardy Heron 8.04, latest updates as of Apr 18.

While setting background effect to 'Transparent background' two instances of gnome-terminal crashed. One of them had apt-get working in it.
First windows became unresponsive (compiz set them grey), then after ~2 sec closed.
Subsequent transparency setting/removing didn't cause crashes.
Video driver radeon.

Did anyone have a similar crash?
