Bug Description
Description:
The package htop, in my case installed with apt, can't be exited using F10 as instructed in the program. F10 will highlight the new tab button of the Terminal, which is shipped with Ubuntu 20.04 LTS Desktop. To exit htop the user can still use 'q' to exit htop, but to some users this may not be known
Htop version: 2.2.0-2build1
Ubuntu version: Ubuntu 20.04 LTS Desktop
Terminal version: 3.36.1.1-1ubuntu1
Expected behaviour:
The Htop program will exit when F10 is pressed.
Actual behaviour:
Pressing F10 will higlight the new tab button of the Terminal.

Hi Tobias and thanks for this bug report. Shortcut clashes are unavoidable, but I believe terminal emulators should do their best to avoid taking over the F<n> keys. I was going to suggest you to disable the shortcut from the gnome-terminal settings, but apparently the shortcut is not listed there and it is not disabled even by unchecking the main "Enable shortcuts" checkbox.
I followed-up to LP: #1380194 (a similar bug report) and I'm going to reassign this report to gnome-terminal. I don't think there's anything that should be fixed on the htop side.
