Bug Description

In Ubuntu 14.04, gnome-terminal had menu item, allowing to launch terminal tab using selected profile (from File menu). Thus one can quickly organize tabs as I wish.

In Ubuntu 16.04, latest update, gnome-terminal has lost (among other features, compared to 14.04) this menu item. I can only open new terminal with new profile.

This menu item should definitely be restored.

There are menu entries File -> Open Terminal -> [one for each profile].

Whether it opens a new tab or a new window depends on Edit -> Preferences -> Open new terminals in.

If I change that selection, all terminal will open in tabs only. Same problem from another aspect.

What's wrong in keeping possibility to open in either way, without changing the preferences every time I need the other option?

Also, there's still no possibility to assign a shortcut, to either/both the above options.
