Bug Description
If the system theme is changed, gnome-terminal does not immediately change. Changes take effect only when the window receives focus.
This is unlike much of the rest of the system. For example, side-bar icons and window borders change immediately.
Ideally gnome-terminal would respond as well, so you can see the effects of different themes when trying one after another.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1. Open a gnome-terminal.
2. Terminal->Change Profile->Default (if necessary)E
3. Edit->Profile Preferences->Colors and check "Use colors from system theme"
4. Open system Appearances (WindowsKey-
5. Set theme to Ambiance (default) if necessary
6. Give the terminal focus; it should get a purple background
7. (back to Appearances window) CHange Theme to "High Contrast"
EXPECTED RESULT: Terminal background changes immediately to the high-contrast theme's white background
ACTUAL RESULT: Terminal background does not change, although the window border does change
