Misssing header files from c++/usr/include/c++/4.8/

Bug Description

For some reason, /usr/include/c++/4.8/string
is missing from Ubuntu 14.04

by installing

ii gcc-4.8-base 4.8.2-15
ii libc6-dev 2.17-97
ii libgcc-4.8-dev 4.8.2-15
ii libstdc++6 4.8.2-15

it shuold have provided string but it does not

'find /usr/include/c++ -name string'
returns nothing.

dpkg-query -L libstdc++-4.8-dev | grep string

string did not get installed for some reason
