Bug Description

I'm using SSH to get into other machine and write code. Normally I'd use XTerm,
but since I'm using Gnome with Ubuntu I went for Gnome-Terminal. I've noticed
that when I'm using screen and VIm, the content messes up from time to time. I
don't know what tigger it. I can move up to the half on console, I see only one
line of code. CTRL^L is helpful, but this bug is annoying.

Yes. I'm using XTerm now. :(
Using GTerm is very annoying because of this bug.

could you try if that's still an issue with vte 0.11.12 ?

I don't know what version I'm running now, because I'm outside of office, but
this bug didn't show his face since some time ago. I'm running up-to-date
Ubuntu/Hoary. I guess we can mark this as closed.
