Bug Description
as far as i can see in edgy and gnome 2.16 there is no disk management tool.
this means, for example, that a user is unable to format a usb-stick. they will often come pre-formatted as fat32 but there are many usb-devices which a user will want in ext3 and not fat32 or whatever else.
what are we going to do about this? is there a plan? apparently gnome has given up on disk-management.
should we include gparted by default? we can not allow the necessity to use the terminal for a task this trivial in ubuntu...especially since with edgy there is no need for the terminal for any other task (in other words it is becoming complete as a a desktop solution)...
