Bug Description

Go to system->administration->net->Properties of eth0 interface.
I set it up as static IP, then I write the PC's IP, network mask and gateway's IP, click OK and close the net dialog. Then I try to connect to the Internet, but it fails to search anything. So I return to the network configuration dialog and I find that the gateway's IP is disappeared.
So... I can't use Internet with Edgy Eft Knot 2.

this also affects me. it works fine with dhcp, but when I set it to use static, the gateway setting disapears.

Well, it only works with "ifconfig". I modified the configuration manually, and then I used "ifdown eth0" and "ifup eth0" to use the config. that I wrote manually, and worked fine, but on the graphic interface it didn't show the gateway, althought the Internet connection was working OK.

sudo route add default gateway x.x.x.x

But work only until reboot.
