Floppy labeled as hard disk

Thanks for your bug. What do you call "labeled as a Hard Disk"? Is that a duplicate of bug #36204?

The Icon is not 'floppy' as it is in breezy. instead there are two Hard disk Icons and one of them shows the device as /dev/fd0. so it does recognise the device - it just displays the description and icon as Hard disk instead of floppy.

I should add that floppies wont mount in Dapper.

This all works fine in breezy on the same machine

what is the mounting issue? does "sudo modprobe floppy" fixes your issue?

Yeah

It works

Well 95% - but it is the same as breezy now.

The floppy will mount and the icon shows in 'disks'.

However, same as breezy, it is now shown as /dev/hda. Less of a problem but still a bug.

I will add the floppy module to my boot list. hopefully this is automatically in place by the time Dapper is released.
