I have checked that service-admin does not saves start/stop priorities of the several runlevels. This brings to inconsistent results. i.e.: ntpdate is configured from postinst with this command:
update-rc.d ntpdate start 51 S . but if you disable and then enable it again from services-admin, you will get into a status in which ntpdate is started either on runlevel S and in runlevel 2.
