Hardy Alpha 4 Shared Folders won't

Bug Description

Install Hardy Alpha (4?) 20080131 on Compaq Presario 3.3 gHz Celeron

Select shared folders, says services not installed, so select Samba (not unix) service

Samba installs, verified with Synaptic

Select shared folders, select Unlock, and the whole shared services window disappears. Can't do anything without the window.

Is there a way to do shared folders from command line?

Let me know what info anyone would like, lspci, dmesg, logs, whatever.

Thanks, Jerry

Seems to be working O.K. on this system now. Perhaps one of the flood of daily updates did something.

Thanks, Jerry
