Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-system-tools

/dev/nvram is now owned by group "kmem," which does not appear in the list in the gnome tool to configure users and groups. I had to manually add myself to the kmem group so I could use the thinkpad buttons utility (tpb).

nvram seems like a basic device that users will need access to, and one of the options in User Privileges should trigger this group.
