on startup xorg process takes 60% to 80% of resources and system slows down. if logout and login then works normally

Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-system-monitor

the bug is similar to the bug 187383 . but theis is observed in karmik kaola - ubun tu 9.10.
system is very slow when I run gnome-desktop.

I tested the 32bit Ubuntu 9.10 on Lenovo think master with Intel core2 vipro (quad core) 4GB Ram, NVidia 9600GT there is no problem.

But on AMD Phenom, GIGABYTE mother board, 4GBRAM with AMD HD3300 Graphics, system is dam slow.

On the same system I have tested with Ubuntu 9.04 and Fedora 11 and no problem has been observed.
