Bug Description

The new gnome-system-monitor (of ubuntu hardy) uses many resources processor.

When I run it, it uses about 25 or 30 % of the processor, (more when i look the resources tab believe that increases) but when I use the command top, htop or other this does not happen

And in the list of processor resources by program, the gnome-system-monitor uses a lot of resources

Thank you for your time in submitting this Bug report and in helping Ubuntu to be better.

However I am unable to re-produce this report of high resource usage by the new gnome-system-monitor.

Could you please help to provide the following:

1) Your system specs (CPU, RAM, HDD space, Graphic card, fresh install or upgrade)

2) If possible a screen grab showing the 20-30% usage by gnome-system-monitor

3) Does the usage fall over time, increase, or maintains it's initial level with no change?

Thank you for your time once again.
