Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-system-monitor

Selecting the resources tab on the System Monitor causes cpu usage to go to 100%, application response becomes very sluggish, and the graph updates are corrupt (doesn't seem to erase previous lines before overlaying new updates)

I face the same problem.But increasing the graph update time decreases the cpu usage.But at that time interval (i.e)for example let update interval be 5sec , for every 5sec cpu shoots up to 100%.
