gnome-system-monitor asks for root password instead of user password

Bug Description

When you try to kill a process with a different user id, gnome-system-monitor
asks for the root password.

gnome-system-monitor uses su (emulating a terminal) to execute a kill or renice
process. Maybe it would be better to use gksudo here?

Something tells me that my patches to do just that got lost in a new upstream
