Bug Description

1) Release: Ubuntu 20.04 LTS

2) Package version: gnome-sushi 3.34.0-2

3) Expected behaviour

* Pressing the spacebar opens the preview window
* Pressing the spacebar once more or clicking the close icon closes the preview

4) Actual behaviour

For most file types Gnome Sushi works as expected, however for video files:
* Pressing the spacebar opens the preview window (as expected)
* Pressing the spacebar once more or clicking the close icon closes the preview window but immediately reopens the preview window; the only way to exit this loop seems to be to either open the video normally by clicking the "Open with Videos" button in the preview window then close the "Videos" window or to close the main "Files" window while the preview window is still shown.

The problem I described doesn't seem to occur all the time, but I don't know what causes it, why it disappears and then reappears.

For example it seems like the problem disappears temporarily after opening the video by clicking the "Open with Videos" button from the preview window and then closing it, but it reappears after some time.

Is there anything I can do to help in finding what causes the problem? Any logs I could take and share for example?

I am also affected by a problem with sushi and video files. When previewing a video and it has happened with multiple videos, Ubuntu will log me out and force a restart. This doesn't happen with images or audio files but happens every time I try to preview a video for more than a few seconds.

I am using Ubuntu 20.04.1. This problem did not happen in 18.04. They have only been happening since I updated to 20.04

I have this issue on 20.04. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I can try to fix it.

I am not able to duplicate this issue with Ubuntu 20.04 LTS.

Are you still experiencing this issue?

What file type is the video?
