gnome-sushi wont open when .wav etc files contain comment metadata

Bug #1116836 reported by chrissy mcmanus on 2013-02-06
This bug affects 1 person
Affects Status Importance Assigned to Milestone
gnome-sushi (Ubuntu)

Bug Description

(1) Ubuntu 12.04.2 LTS

(2) Installed: 0.4.1-0ubuntu1
  Candidate: 0.4.1-0ubuntu1
  Version table:
 *** 0.4.1-0ubuntu1 0
        500 precise/universe i386 Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

(3) Whenever I select a *.wav sample and press the spacebar the sushi window will either not open or open for a fraction of a second only. This only happens to .wav files that contain comment metadata that i have set using audacity. I have checked these .wav files in multiple audio apps and they always open no problem.

I havnt tested yet with any other types of metadata but i guess the behaviour will always be the same.

thanks and if you need anyh more info or further bug testing just let me know.
