gnome-subtitles refuses to open files (.srt .sub .txt)

Description: Ubuntu hardy (development branch)
Release: 8.04

Opening a subtitle produces "The specified file is invalid."

I have experimented with various Files (.srt, .sub, .txt) with the same result.

For me, installing the following package resolve the issue:
libmono-i18n2.0-cil

I solved the problem by installing that package, too. Seems to be a dependences problem of the package
